Bar none. That being said, a Signalink is a pretty awesome solution, and is rock solid. However, you can make your own version with an EasyDigi for a lot less. ===== How to use with your radios ===== Most cost efficient way to use the device is to use one EasyDigi for each station location. If you sit at a desk with multiple rigs, use one if you’re only going to use one at a time (don’t multitask!). How to accomplish multiple rigs with one unit? Add a universal connector between your rig and the EasyDigi. I tend to use 9 port serial connectors, but you could also use a 5 pin DIN/MIDI connector as well. Typically, you are using four wires to interface your radio (speaker, mic, ptt, and ground). ==== Recommended parts ==== * Cases * [[https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/546-1551KFLBK|Flanged box in black]] * [[https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/546-1551KBK|Non-flanged box in black]] * Experiment with a taller box if you need room using a 5 Pin DIN plug for your universal adapter.
